A young man with short black hair smiling and squatting against a beige background, wearing a blue denim shirt, white sneakers, and light jeans. Overlaid text reads '25 IN REVIEW' in large white letters, with smaller yellow cursive text saying 'Recent work & Reflections'.

Hi there,

2025 marks my 10th year as a professional photographer and my 3rd year running this business full-time. If you’re reading this, chances are high you’ve played a role and contributed to this milestone. As overused as this phrase may be, I can’t think of a more articulate way to express my gratitude: I could not have done this without you.

Every year-end, I curate a collection of my favorite projects along with notes and reflections. It takes many hands and brilliant minds to produce these photoshoots, and I owe a lot of people their flowers.

My dear reader, thank you for taking the time to browse and reflect with me. I also recommend viewing this on a desktop for optimal experience. I hope you came hungry, it makes the photos look tastier.

A hand with red painted nails holding a bottle of Lola's Fine Hot Sauce above a pile of red chili peppers, with the text Lola's Fine Hot Sauce in bold white letters across the middle on a red background.

When the project request came in, the brief was simple: “We want scroll-stopping content that emphasizes the quality of ingredients we use. The riskier the imagery, the better.”

In addition to the final images, I’m including our pre-production deck. Inspiration vs Reality.

A bottle of Prairie Organic Spirit next to two glasses of lime and ice, surrounded by lemons, limes, pistachios, and lime wedges on a wooden table with a blurred background.

Prairie Organic, a brand under the spirits giant, Phillips Distilling Company, has been a staple on my liquor shelf for years. So when Sam from Agency Squid (love a mollusk - to clarify, Sam’s human) reached out on building their client’s content library, it was a bid I knew I HAD to win. Our main objectives? Highlight Prairie Organic’s new hammered-textured bottles, and capture a mix of cocktails and bottles in various lifestyle environments.

Three people enjoying pizza from different angles with a central pizza and the word 'HORMEL' over a red background.

Hormel needs no introduction. As you may imagine, the giant in the CPG (consumer packaged goods) demands high output.

I’m glad to have connected with the folks at JT Mega about 3 years ago, and since then, we’ve partnered on many photoshoots to support Hormel. The images below are from a few different shoots throughout the year.

Interior of a modern upscale restaurant with dark wood accents, blue upholstered chairs, a well-stocked bar, and contemporary lighting fixtures.

Let’s pivot from CPG brands for a moment and focus on some restaurant food and beverage work. Relatively new, Boketto features a Mediter-Asian forward menu, stunning interiors, and a swanky Miami-like nightclub vibe.

For this hybrid photo/video shoot, we partnered with internationally known chef, television personality, and author Daniel Green. The goal of this production was to introduce Boketto and highlight both its food and bar programs. Turn up the volume for sizzles and stay for Daniel’s energy and British accent.

A person with fair skin is using a black handheld tool to embed a gold chain bracelet onto their forearm. The person is wearing multiple gold and beaded bracelets on their wrist and has a few gold rings on their fingers. On the table, there are jewelry pieces, including chains and rings, along with jewelry display cones and a white dish with tags and small tools. The background features a green curtain or wall.

Every now and then, I step outside my food and beverage niche. This project with LINC, a permanent jewelry brand, was incredibly special to me.

Lindsay is a solopreneur who works as a designer from 9-5, and runs her business from 5-9 — a position I was in not long ago before going full time.

This photoshoot took a village and each person represents the support and love within the craft/artist community.

Group of four diverse friends laughing and smiling at a bar, with bottles of wine on shelves in the background, celebrating friendship and cultural diversity.

Over the past 2 years, I’ve grown incredibly close with my found brothers, Baaska, Ernie, and Eddie. The three of them are talented chefs and I’m a home cook enthusiast but more importantly, an enthusiastic eater. We hosted two joint pop-up events at Bar Brava, representing our cultures: Mongolian, Filipino, and Chinese. The 3 of them led the charge on the tasting menu, taking turns presenting their dishes while I documented the evening. We even got a feature on our CBS - ma, I’m on TV! Watch the segment here.

As we land this “2025 In Review” plane, I want to highlight a couple more one-off visuals. These heavy hitters may not have their own gallery but certainly deserve a spot on the highlight reel.

let’s keep it personal

A happy couple sitting on the floor with their three dogs against a beige background. They are laughing and wearing casual denim jackets.

If you’ve made it this far, congrats — you’ll soon be rewarded with family photos which include cute puppies.

Here are some personal highlights from this year:

  • Celebrated 5 years with my better half, Grace Bray. She’s the magic in our home, a badass entrepreneur (check out Potty Mouth Makery) and the reason we keep accumulating animals.

  • Welcomed our 3rd pup into the fam, a golden named Chef!

  • Stepped into my Home Depot dad era with DIYs around the house, woodworking, and lawncare.

  • Got into bread making. My preferred hyration, you ask? 75%

This year has been filled with it’s highlights and I’m eager to see what 2026 has in store. Thanks again for coming on this ride with me. Here’s a wrap on 2025 and cheers to the new year ahead. Great things are ahead.

Your’s Truly,
